Reminiscent Designs is a growing anime graphics and resource site. We provide many graphics and
designs, as well as brushes, tutorials, textures, wallpapers, premade signs, forum signatures and
extracted images and a collection of avatars and templates. The soul purpose of this website it
to provide quality graphics and resources for the visitors. We hope you will find some helpful
resources or become inspired/motivated by our site.

Origin of the Name
Reminiscent; Definition: adj. Impressionistic; awakening memories of the past
Designs; Definition: noun. Aesthetically pleasing and skillfully crafted works of computer
graphics
Chosen by me, Quinn ^_^;; The name came to be one day when I was listening to a song. I loved
how the singer played with the word 'reminisce' in the vocals and it just stuck to my mind. The
song itself has much more meaning to me, so when I visit/work on my website I remember how the
song really moved me and inspired me on so many levels.

Layout Name: Beyond Beauty
Date: March 2008 - Present
Artist: Quinn
Notes: Featuring one of my favourite animes: Kaleido Star! I wanted a fun, circus-themed and
elegant layout - this is what I came up with. The blue/purple theme was different. I was aiming for a more
golden/purple, but this worked out perfectly. It is very simplistic and also sophisticated - not too detail-oriented or
heavy with brishes and patterns. The format is similar to the previous layout since it worked so well the last time.

Layout Name: My Reason for Living
Date: August 2007 - March 2008

Notes: Officially, the first all-pink layout. In the past, I used to always make
pink layouts for my old sites because I was a pink-fanatic! I wanted an orange/blue themed
layout, but naturally I fell in love with the pinkish creams that this layout sports. The right
navigation was shortened to 4 sections and Affies could be found under main image.

Layout Name: All That I Have
Date: July 2007 - August 2007

Notes: The second "pale" layout for RD. I love the blend I did on the main header. It took
me forever, but the end result was more than I was hoping for. The angel's wings were originally
black, but I changed them to a white glow to draw more attention to the girl's face. The pink and
purple colour scheme pulled everything together perfectly!

Layout Name: Autumn Melody
Date: October-December 2006
Artist: Quinn
Notes: I love the colours on this one! I've rarely made layouts with a creamy/brownish
theme. I'm quite proud of how I've blended the main image. It took me a long time to code the stylesheet
in order for it to work on both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The image I used too is
one of my favourite pictures I've seen so far! I just had to use it right away!

Layout Name: New Wings
Date: July-September 2006

Notes: This layout was a different style than what I'm used to designing. I love how it
turned out. I tried to keep a pink/white theme, but
I think adding in the grays and aqua blues made it much more attractive! It took me quite a long
time to design because I wanted the first layout to look amazing.

Can I request for a custom Layout or Graphic?
As a matter of fact, you may request for a small graphic, whether it be an avatar or site button.
I will even off to make you a custom sign or forum signature. Layouts, on the other hand, are
much more time consuming (if you want one that is well done) so I will only be accepting layout
requests during my holidays - summer break, winter break and march break. Other than that, if I
am in the mood and you take a risk with contacting me anyway, I might be up for your request - be
it any graphic, even a layout. If I feel you deserve a custom made layout, then try your luck!
(On a side note, if I know you I will most definitely be up for your request!).

Are you accepting affiliates and siblings?
Ahh a frequently asked question!! RD is not accepting affiliates at the current moment.
Please check to see if a form is up. However, you may apply for link exchange by using
the contact form.
I see an error on your site - should I report it?
YES! Please do. Your help is greatly appreciated. If you find any broken links, broken images or
you see some code showing that shouldn't be there, please contact the
webmistress and it will fix it right away! This is a very good question!
Can I add you in MSN?
If we've talked once - like through message boards or by email - than yes, just ask!
I like meeting new people, so don't be afraid!
Can we donate some graphics?
Your donations are flattering, but if you do not meet our quality designs (like add a simple
border to a picture and call it an original avatar) than we may have to reject your offer.
However, you may try to submit using the contact form.
Can I join staff?
There is no form you can fill out, so you can assume we are not looking for new staff members at
the moment.
How are your designs so original and well done?
We're glad you like our designs! We get our inspiration from all over the web - trying new
things, playing around with Photoshop and using our creative minds. Looking through magazines (especially
anime ones like NewType USA) gets us in the mood for making a creative design. We put our hearts
and soul into making each and every design. If you would like to know some of our tips and tricks
on creating designs or even 'how-to..'s to learn for yourself, you should visit RD's Tutorial

What happened to Celestial Tears?
Unfortunately, CT had to close. There is an end to all good things - but with an ending comes a
new beginning = Reminiscent Designs. Hopefully you wont miss CT that much, because some of the
graphics featured here were part of CT's old collection. I don't think CT will ever re-open, in
case you were going to ask in another email.

hmm... so the first question I get is about my ethnic background. As a matter of fact, I am Asian ^_^
born in Manila, Philippines (and Chacha too!) that makes us 100% flip* ch'yeah.
